Scream, Resistance and Naked People!

Mama: Amazing day touring Oslo! We started at the Oslo Opera House - super cool building where you’re able to walk up the roof. Then we went to the National Museum where we saw The Scream by Edvard Munch, who was Norwegian (who knew?!). We learned that this scene came to him whilst walking along the boardwalk with two friends at sunset. The blood red sky elicited an emotional scream and so he painted it. After lunch we went through the Resistance Museum and learned how Norway resisted Nazi occupation and sabotaged war materials like Pyrite and heavy water. Then we went to Frogner Park to see the Vigeland installation of sculptures, which is a bunch of naked people and one giant monolith of naked people!
Bun: We got to go to an amazing playground! The pole was really fast. We also went to an amazing museum. And there was a sandbox.
Bud: We got to see how Norway protected heavy water from Hitler. Then we went to an art museum. And we learned all about the art on an iPhone tour. We found all the paintings.

I had to take a shot with a Van Gogh because I got in trouble for taking pictures in Amsterdam at the Van Gogh Museum. C’mon... Everyone was doing it! 🤷‍♀️
